Princess Ellie is pony-mad! And she doesn't always enjoy being a princess. She hates soppy pink dresses and boring waving lessons. She’d much rather be riding one of her gorgeous ponies, or even mucking out the royal stables.

I love writing the Pony-Mad Princess books. I can let my imagination fly and combine my passion for ponies with my delight in making people laugh. There's definitely a little bit of me in Ellie but my life was never that exciting or that much fun.

At the moment, I'm having a break from Ellie while I work on other projects. That doesn't mean there won't ever be any more stories - I'm quite likely to write another book about her sometime in the future.

I'm currently writing a different series about a girl called Amy Wild. I'm also working on a plot for a longer pony book. It's about a girl who is older than Ellie, and it will be quite a while before it's finished.

In the USA and Canada, The Pony-Mad Princess series is called The Pony-Crazed Princess. Some of the titles are different too and the numbers of the books are different, but the stories are the same. So please don't get confused if you find both sets of books for sale on the internet. There is only one series - it just has different names in different countries. If you look at the list of books below, you'll see which titles are which.
